My Toolkit
My counselling approach is integrative, combining the strengths of Person-Centred and Psychodynamic therapies to create a personalized experience for you.
Person-Centred Approach
You’re the expert of your own life. In our sessions, I’m here to listen and support as you explore your thoughts and feelings. This approach focuses on your current experiences and believes in your inherent potential to grow and reach your true self. Together, we’ll create a safe, non-judgmental space for self-discovery and personal growth.
Psychodynamic Approach
Sometimes, current challenges stem from unresolved past experiences. The Psychodynamic approach helps us explore those past events and understand how they may still be influencing your present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By bringing these hidden issues to light, we can enable transformative change.
Blending Both Approaches
By integrating these approaches, we address both your present experiences and any underlying issues from the past, offering holistic support. My goal is to walk beside you, helping you achieve a more balanced and fulfilling life.
My Style
My style adapts to your needs. Whether you need a proactive guide or a supportive listener, I adjust my approach to make you feel comfortable and empowered in our sessions.
Phenomenology
Your experience is unique to you, shaped by your environment, upbringing, and society. I focus on understanding your unique world to help uncover deeper insights and foster meaningful change. My role is to be a blank canvas, allowing you to express your story fully.
Whatever your story, it’s okay. Taking the step to come to counselling shows immense courage. I’m here to support you on your journey of understanding and change.
